The 1884 Giving Society is an exclusive group of philanthropists dedicated to upholding Daniel’s guiding mission of helping children and families.

Founded in 1884, Daniel is Florida’s oldest child-service agency, assisting an average of 5,000 children and families each year. Our diverse range of innovative and nationally recognized programs: supply on-site residential counseling for abused and emotionally-troubled children

  • connect neglected children with caring foster and adoptive families
  • provide homeless teens with shelter and independent living skills
  • reduce delinquency among at-risk youth
  • strengthen families who are working toward reunification
