These are just a few of the faces of the children at Daniel. Without help, children like these are at risk to harm themselves or others, or enter the juvenile justice system.

Fortunately, Daniel does make a difference. From prevention to intervention, from foster care to adoption, we help children and families — and in doing so, strengthen our community at large.

4 Smiling Children

Whether you have or know of a child who needs our help, work for a referral agency and want to learn more about our services, or are considering Daniel as a potential recipient of your donation dollars or volunteer efforts, this section of our website offers a glimpse into the many ways we help Daniel kids.

To address the diverse needs of the children and families in our community, Daniel partners with a wide range government agencies and community support resources including the Florida Department of Children and FamiliesFamily Support Services, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the City of JacksonvilleKids Hope Alliance, and the United Way.

Most of our young clients come to us through one of our referring agencies and qualify for Medicaid. We work with those agencies and the children’s guardians to determine the level of care needed, and then guide them through the initial referral and health care funding process. However, if your child needs help and you are unsure of the process, please feel free to contact the Daniel Admissions team at 904-772-5165, or via email at [email protected] and we will be glad to discuss your situation and direct you to help.

Daniel provides a wide range of services in the categories listed below. To get a general idea of which category of services might be best for a particular child, feel free to check out our Who We Help section first.
